Happy Winter Solstice!

Hello friends!
A very short post, but today in our corner of the world it is the shortest day.
I haven't had time to write a proper story, but I wanted to share a scene of how my Buttermilk rabbit family are celebrating the Winter Solstice, and looking forward to the lengthening of the days after this point.

They're snug and cosy and I hope you are enjoying the winter/summer solstice too!

  1. Hi Kelsie,
Such a cozy scene with the Buttergloves gathered in their living room. The soft lighting and the warm glow of the fireplace create a peaceful, homely atmosphere. It's a lovely way to showcase this adorable family celebrating the Winter Solstice.

I wonder if New Zealand has its own traditions to celebrate the Winter Solstice.
It’s so strange to think of winter there while here it’s 37ºC!

Wishing you longer, brighter days ahead, my friend!
I can’t wait to see a new story or photo on your blog soon!

Hope you have a lovely winter. Stay warm and snug!”

    1. Hi Cutata!

First of all, I want to apologise for how long it's taken me to get on here and reply to your comment. I am so sorry! I'm afraid I haven't been very involved with my Sylvanians lately apart, but I'd like that to change.

By this time, summer has finished here and the days are cooling once more. Oh my goodness, 37 degrees is hot! The highest we hit here is about 27, and even that's too much for me. I hope you've been having a kind winter in Sweet Berry Valley and I'm wishing you every joy as you head into spring!

I also want to thank you for the way you always read my posts and have something kind to say. Sometimes blogging can feel a little lonely as I'm unsure how many people actually look at it, so your words mean alot to me (although I completely understand when life gets in the way - obviously very guilty of this myself)! Thank you thank you, and best wishes to you my friend.

      Much love from Bluebell Oaks

  2. No worries at all about the delay to reply to my comment! I completely understand that life gets busy and Sylvanians have to take a backseat sometimes. It happens to me too.
As I’ve mentioned more than once, I absolutely love your blog, and seeing a new post always brightens my day. I even go back and reread your older stories sometimes because they make me feel so calm and happy.

I hope you’re able to find some time to get back to your Sylvanians soon.

    Have a nice weekend!
