I have been collecting Sylvanians since 2012. My first ever Sylvanian item was the ‘Sweet Dreams Bed’, and my first family was the Red Deer Family. Things just escalated from there and I now have quite a large collection!
I love all Sylvanians, but one of my favourites has always been Ingrid Blackberry the piebald rabbit, as she is very adventurous and outdoorsy, perhaps a little like myself! Though I have also developed a soft spot for several other characters and families!
The thing I love about Sylvanian Families is the tiny details, and the wonderful, peaceful way they live. They never get angry and there is no crime. Family and friends are very important in Sylvania and everything around them is natural. And, as Bluebell Oaks is a small village situated in the heart of Bluebell Woods, the villagers really know how appreciate the world around them. They lead simple lives, yet they are happy and enjoy every moment of it. I find this way of life refreshing and inspiring.
